Ancient fort from the time of David just discovered

Over and over archaeology discovers pieces that show that the overall picture from the Old Testament is accurate. In this just announced discovery, a fort from David’s time was discovered. Here “an ancient fortified complex believed to have been founded by the Geshurites, the ally of King David, in the 11th or 10th century BCE”. Archaeology confirms many individuals directly, though many are either confirmed indirectly or left currently without a verification. That is very much what we should expect. We see the cities and cultures confirmed completely external to the Bible. This makes it much more reasonable to have faith in the miraculous acts and in the God of the Bible. The Bible isn’t just history. It is His story.
